Qatar Islamic Bank (QIB), has strengthened its digital offering and made it easier for all of its clients to access important financial services by adding a number of new features to its award-winning mobile app and QIB Lite app.
All qualified clients can now use QIB's improved Instant Credit Card feature without having to transfer their salaries to the company.
Through the QIB Mobile App, non-salaried clients can now apply for and obtain a credit card immediately, secured by a lien—a short-term hold—on their deposit or account balance.
Through a direct API link with Habib Bank Limited (HBL) via the QIB Mobile App and QIB Lite App, QIB has also extended its Instant Cash Pickup service to Pakistan.
With the Cash Pickup service, QIB clients can safely transfer funds to recipients in Pakistan, who can then pick them up right away from any partner HBL branch.
The new corridor gives Qatar's expatriate communities useful remittance choices by expanding the Cash Pickup network that now serves Jordan, Egypt, and the Philippines.
The QIB Mobile App now offers the Salary Advance feature, one of the recently added services, to qualified low-income earners (WPS).
In a matter of simple steps, customers can obtain up to 80% of their net salary instantaneously.
For clients in need of short-term cash, the service is an easy, quick, and economical option because it provides a one-time settlement in the subsequent month and a fixed monthly profit rate of just 1%.
The QIB Mobile App and QIB Lite App now offer the service.
