733 mosques and open-air prayer grounds Prepared across Qatar for Eid Al-Adha prayers

The Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs has designated 733 mosques and open-air prayer grounds across Qatar for Eid Al-Adha prayers, scheduled for 5am on Wednesday, according to its 2026 list.

The prayer venues are spread across Doha and all municipalities, including Al Thumama, Lusail, Al Khor, Al Rayyan and Al Wakrah. The ministry has also introduced a QR code directory to help worshippers find the nearest prayer location.

Eid prayers in Al Thumama will take place at several mosques and the Al Thumama Eid Musalla, including Ismail bin Ali Al Emadi Mosque and Sarah bint Mohammed Mosque.

Across Qatar, the ministry has also allocated open-air Eid grounds in areas such as Al Khor, Lusail and Al Aziziyah, along with major venues including Education City Stadium, Al Sadd Club Stadium and Aspire Zone parking areas.

Additional prayer sites have been arranged in Mesaimeer, the Industrial Area and Al Sheehaniya to accommodate large congregations.
