Dafna garden (Alsheraton previously)is located on the Corniche of Doha near Sheraton Hotel. The garden was established in 1990 on an area of 93,297 Sq.mtr. Dafna garden is one of the most important public gardens in the state that is known by its wonderful view on the Gulf of Doha, where the blue water blended with the beauty of the green nature and the sea with the beach to form a stunning view which impresses the viewers, it is also considered one of the most attractive gardens to the visitors especially for those who like of walking sport.
The park was designed according to natural system and the green area takes the most space of the garden in a unique distribution through a large group of palm trees, neem and Alalbeza, also you can see some of the European olive trees in addition to some trees and various ornamental shrubs and the attractive seasonal flowers.
The playing area is located in the center of the park and close to the Sheraton Hotel, this area is surrounded by a group of seats to allow the control of children by parents while playing. The area also is provided with a group of unique and safe games, also children can exercise some of the activities near this area where a big space left free of trees to allow children to play freely and exercise their activities and various games.
The Park also contains a restaurant and cafeteria offers some foods and drinks and some accessories for the Visitors.
