Argentina has won the FIFA World Cup 2022 Qatar

The Argentina national football team are the winners of the 2022 FIFA World Cup Qatar after their 4-2 victory on penalties over France in the final match at the Lusail Stadium on Sunday evening. The Amir HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani crowned the team for their victory.

After waiting for 16 years, the world cup eventually came to Messi's hands. He looked at the crown knowingly, with a face full of surprise, joy and tears, like a father looking at his first child. Then he kissed knowingly and thhe crown shone even more radiantly when his tears caressed it.

The fact that Argentina and Messi are world champions is not just a one-line story. It has years of waiting, filled with tears and stories of endurance. Even opponents cannot turn away from agreeing to the magic of Messi.

He stands tall in front of those who accused him of not being able to win a title for the country. In a span of one and a half years, Messi won the Copa title of the continent, the cup for the finalists and the World Cup, which was claimed only for the kings of world football.

Lionel Messi on Sunday insisted that he is not retiring from international football after guiding Argentina to the World Cup glory in Qatar.

“Obviously, I wanted to complete my career with this, (I) can’t ask for more,” Messi said. “Finishing my career this way is impressive. After this, what else? I have a Copa América, a World Cup. Almost at the very end.

“I love soccer, what I do. I enjoy being part of the national team, the group. I want to enjoy a couple of more matches being a world champion.”

“It’s just crazy that it became a reality this way. I craved for this so much. I knew God would bring this gift to me, I had the feeling that this (World Cup) was the one,” Messi said. “It took so long, but here it is. We suffered a lot, but we managed to do it.”

HH the Amir and President of FIFA Gianni Infantino handed over the gold medals to the players of the Argentine national team. HH the Amir, HE President of France Emmanuel Macron, and Infantino handed over the silver medals to the players of the French national team, the runners-up of the championship.
