Availability of vehicle license plates featuring AFC Asian Cup Qatar 2023 logo announced by Ministry

On Monday, the General Directorate of Traffic made public the availability of licence plates for cars bearing the Qatar 2023 AFC Asian Cup emblem. 

The Ministry posted an educational video on social media to outline the requirements for requesting these unique licence plates. 

The Ministry mentioned the following rules in the video:

• The payment of the allocated costs.
• It is not necessary to register a car for the first time.
• It is forbidden to copy or install the logo without permission; those who do so risk legal repercussions.
• Only private car licence plates are authorised to use the emblem.
