Baladna Park, a green refuge on the outskirts of Doha, is the gateway to a peaceful Nature Wonderland. Doha's city centre is an hour away by car, but Al Khor is well worth the trip because there's so much to see and do. Initially, the property's livestock consisted of sheep and goats when it was first developed in 2014. Baladna replaced the Saudi Arabian milk it had been importing with milk from the Czech Republic after the economic and political embargo had been lifted in 2017. Since then, Baladna has met its aim of meeting domestic demand and is also exporting its products to Afghanistan and other nations. One of the GCC's largest sheep and livestock farms, Baladna has grown to enormous proportions. The on-site restaurant and amusement park draw throngs of Doha-based tourists.
