Crabtonite

Crabtonite is a new spot at The Pearl-Qatar with fun signboards, a Pac Man arcade machine and messages all over the walls. It’s not a massive space and gets filled pretty quickly, even on weekdays. Crabtonite is a restaurant located in Qatar, serving a selection of Qatari, Breakfast, Cafe that delivers across Pearl Qatar.

The menu is pretty straightforward – we opt for our choice of seafood, sauce to go along, level of spice we can handle and that’s about it. There are a few additional sides, pastas and starters. The calamari strips are crunchy and delicious and also gone in a matter of few seconds. We skip straight to the mains. Once we don our bibs, gloves and plastic sleeve protectors (and kitchen tissues), we’re ready to dig in. The shrimps arrive in a small bucket in a bag full of lemon garlic pepper cream. Going for the spiciest option may not have been the wisest decision, but we chug water and keep going. The king crab legs are some of the biggest we’ve seen and the original Cajun sauce is brilliant.

Their best selling dishes are Mussel Trio Combo Bucket and The Philly Cheese Steak Sub Sandwich, although they have a variety of dishes and meals to choose from like Qatari, Breakfast, Cafe.
