Development of e-learning environment systems and AI, has become an integral part of educational strategic plan in Qatar as per Education Minister

The development of e-learning environment systems, artificial intelligence (AI), and supporting the digital transformation of the educational environment have become integral parts of any educational strategic plan in Qatar, according to HE Buthaina bint Ali Al Jabr Al Nuaimi, Minister of Education and Higher Education. Her Excellency commended the state for being eager to use technology into the different teaching and learning processes in order to better equip the students to meet the demands of contemporary practical life.

Her Excellency spoke at the 13th Conference of Arab Ministers of Education, which was hosted by the Ministry of National Education, Preschool, and Sports in Morocco and organised by the Arab League Educational, Cultural, and Scientific Organisation (ALECSO). She noted that the tremendous and successive advancements in information and communication technology and artificial intelligence have resulted in economic, educational, and cultural changes in all fields, particularly after the Challenge.

HE the Minister emphasised the significance of countries' roles in ensuring that all efforts are harnessed to translate their commitments into actions towards influencing the future of education, stressing the need to exert all practical efforts to support and promote the continuation of the global movement to achieve the desired education transformation.

She stated that at the request of the UN Secretary-General, the State of Qatar was chosen from a group of five nations to spearhead the change of education. Her Excellency met with HE Chakib Benmoussa, Minister of National Education, Preschool, and Sports of Morocco, outside of the conference, where they talked about measures to promote and advance their bilateral educational collaboration.
