Education Above All Foundation

Education Above All (EAA) is a foundation founded in 2012 by Her Highness Sheikha Moza bint Nasser. Its aim is to build a global movement that contributes to human, social and economic development through the provision of quality education. With a particular focus on those affected by poverty, conflict and disaster, it champions the needs of children, youth and women to empower them to become active members of their communities.

EAA is an international foundation overseeing four core programs, Educate A Child (EAC), Al Fakhoora, Protect Education in Insecurity and Conflict (PEIC) & Reach Out To Asia (ROTA).

EAA envisions bringing new life chances, real hope, and opportunities to improve the lives of poor and marginalized children, youth, and women, especially in the developing world.

Education Above All (EAA) works to ensure equal access to education and to harness the power of quality education for positive, sustainable, and inclusive change. EAA is the brainchild of our founder Her Highness Sheikha Moza bint Nasser, the former First Lady of the State of Qatar, and a long-time advocate for education.
