The Ministry of Education and Higher Education has revised the extended weekend holiday after mid-semester exams for the 2025–26 academic year.
For government schools, the break has been moved to April 22–23 instead of April 8–9, while private schools will keep the original April 8–9 dates.
Mid-term exams for grades 1 to 11 will now be held from April 12 to 21, 2026.
