Fifth edition of the Qatar Balloon Festival officially kicked off on December 12

The highly anticipated fifth Qatar Balloon Festival officially began yesterday at Katara Cultural Village's southern parking lot. With a broad array of hot air balloons, exhilarating activities, and performances, the festival, which takes place from December 12 to 21, is sure to be a memorable occasion.

More than 50 hot air balloons from 21 different countries, including Belgium, the United Kingdom, France, Lithuania, Brazil, Spain, and more, are taking part in this year's event, which represents a major milestone in the festival's history. In addition to the thrilling events that are taking place at the location from 4 to 10 p.m., visitors are welcome to experience the captivating sight of the colorful hot air balloons taking flight against the skies of Qatar.
