The Ministry of Education and Higher Education announced the release of the first version of a handbook for educational systems in private schools and kindergartens for 2025.
Standardizing administrative and instructional practices in private schools, guaranteeing adherence to national standards, improving transparency in the accreditation and evaluation processes, and promoting educational diversity by providing a variety of systems—including the International Baccalaureate, American and British curricula, and others—to satisfy the demands of the local and global community are the goals of the guide.
Dr. Rania Mohamed, director of the Ministry's Private Schools and Kindergartens Department, stated that the State of Qatar's dedication to creating an integrated learning environment in private schools that is founded on excellence, quality, and transparency is reflected in the publication of this guide. According to her, it serves as a procedural and regulatory guide that aids parents, students, and schools in making well-informed decisions about education.
