974 Beach will host the Floaties Festival on Friday, September 18, offering family-friendly swimming and recreational activities for children and adults. Organised under the Ministry of Municipality, the event will feature free swimming areas, lifeguards, showers and designated rest spaces. A ladies-only day will also provide women and families with a private and secure beach experience.
Entry is priced at QR35 for adults and QR15 for children under 14, while children under six and people with disabilities can enter free. A car entry pass costs QR150. The festival will feature colourful inflatables and family-friendly beach activities, with access available through an organiser-provided QR code. Lifeguards, swimming areas and relaxation zones will also be available for a safe and enjoyable beach experience.
