The Goals exhibition was opened today by Qatar Foundation (QF) illustrating life in Qatar on its way to FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022. Qatar’s diverse community share stories through multidisciplinary exhibition open to public. The exhibition comprises the work of over 40 storytellers from across Qatar who tells the story of the impact of the FIFA World Cup by the people who are experiencing it themselves. The storytellers share insights into their World Cup journey through a range of mediums including digital and analogue photography, videography, public presentation, and the written word.
“Goals puts its storytellers at the heart of the exhibition,” said Manager of Engagement and Activation at QF, Brooke Reid. “This program, which kicked off last year, has given more than 40 storytellers a platform to share their experiences of being in Qatar in the lead up to the World Cup,” she said.
The exhibition will be to public at Virginia Commonwealth University School of the Arts in Qatar and is planned to be held until December 10. Goals is delivered by QF in partnership with Generation Amazing Foundation, Goal Click, and The Sports Creative, and is sponsored by Salam Stores.
