Largest and most elaborate running event - Wings for Life World Run is scheduled on May 5

The Wings for Life World Run is quickly approaching, as runners and wheelchair users worldwide are preparing for the world's largest and most sophisticated running event, which will begin on May 5, 2024. The Qatar stage of the race will take place at the Khalifa International Stadium. 

The Wings for Life World Run begins at 2:00 p.m. for all participants, whether they are running, jogging, or simply walking. 

The Wings for Life World Run has had a major impact, raising more than 43.8 million euros since its debut in 2014. With 1,293,716 registered participants traveling 11,839,989 kilometers in over 195 nations across all seven continents, the event has grown into a global phenomenon. 

The Wings for Life World Run is more than simply a run; it's a global campaign with a single goal: to find a cure for spinal cord injury. Every walk or roll done on this day benefits spinal cord research, with all entry costs going straight to the Wings for Life Spinal Cord Research Foundation.
