The countdown is almost over as the first team takes the pitch to the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 in less than two months. Fans who haven't yet secured a seat - or want to add even more matches to their schedule - will have another chance to do so on Tuesday 27 September at 11 AM CET / 12 PM local time with the start of the last-minute sales phase.
Tickets can be purchased at FIFA.com/tickets on a first-come, first-served basis and are subject to availability. This sale phase will continue till the end of the tournament. While demand is high and initial inventory is expected to sell out quickly, fans should check FIFA.com/tickets regularly as additional batches of tickets will be made available through further releases and resales, which will be relaunched.
Individual match tickets will be available in all four price categories, with Category 4 tickets reserved for residents of Qatar. Customers can purchase a maximum of six tickets per match and 60 tickets throughout the tournament. People with disabilities and reduced mobility are encouraged to browse options online and choose from a range of dedicated Accessibility Tickets.
With exciting matches taking place around Qatar on the same day, fans can take advantage of the unique opportunity to see up to two showdowns on some group-stage match days. Match details can be found here.
All tickets for the general public will be completed as mobile tickets. Before the second half of October, FIFA will launch a special ticketing app that customers will need to download. Purchased tickets are then uploaded to this app and activated when fans enter the stadium. More information is available here.
