Launch of the competition to design the official character for ConteQ Expo24 was announced

The Advanced Technology for Construction and Services ConteQ Expo24 official character design competition was announced by the Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MoEHE), the Ministry of Labor, the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, and the Public Works Authority (Ashghal). 

Under the auspices of H E Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Prime Minister, the exhibition is the first of its type in the nation and promotes innovation in the fields of construction and services.

In order to implement the State's strategy and vision to raise awareness about the value of using technology in various sectors, the competition aims to involve secondary school students in character design for the Advanced Technology for Construction and Services ConteQ Expo24. Additionally, the competition encourages students to express themselves creatively and imaginatively through designs that bring their ideas to life, as well as to actively participate in forums and exhibitions held in the State.

Students from both government and private secondary schools in Qatar are participating in the competition. The rules and regulations state that the first-place winner will receive a prize of QR30,000, the second-place winner will receive QR20,000, and the third-place winner will receive QR10,000. The students' contributions will be recorded by creating a character from their designs that represents the exhibition.
