Medical Commission

The Medical Commission Department of the Ministry of Public Health performs a number of vital functions which contribute effectively to the implementation of the Ministry's general strategy, as it examines all travelers to the country and some categories of residents to make sure that they are free from infectious diseases, seeking to create a diseases and epidemics-free society.

Functions of the Medical Commission Department includes Examining migrant workers arriving to the country for the purpose of obtaining a residence permit in accordance with the law and its implementing resolutions. Examining candidates for appointment, and determining their health fitness for appointment in service. Medical examination of any other categories included in a decision issued by the Minister.
