The Ministry of Interior (MoI) has outlined the procedures and requirements for obtaining a driving license in the country.
Applicants must provide valid ID, a personal photo, a medical fitness report, and a valid residence permit. The minimum age is 18 for light vehicles and motorcycles, and 21 for heavy vehicles and public transport.
Candidates must enroll in an accredited driving school and pass both theory and practical tests. Licenses can then be obtained through traffic offices or online platforms like Metrash and the MoI website.
The Ministry also stressed that driving without a valid license poses serious safety risks.
