The Ministry of Interior (MOI) has sent an SMS alert advising motorists and school bus drivers to slow down in residential areas and near schools.
The ministry warned against distractions such as mobile phone use while driving and urged students to follow safety rules, including using designated pedestrian crossings.
The advisory aims to enhance road safety and protect the community, as nearly 417,000 students return to in-person classes following recent regional uncertainties.
