Ooredoo Qatar has launched the country’s first 5G+ mobile network, offering improved digital experiences and smarter business operations.
The 5G+ network combines the advanced capabilities of 5G standalone, first deployed by Ooredoo Qatar, with 5G Advanced technology to deliver higher speeds, increased capacity and lower latency. These enhancements allow more devices to connect and share data seamlessly, while faster response times support real-time equipment monitoring, automation and other demanding digital applications.
Ooredoo Qatar CEO HE Sheikh Ali bin Jabor bin Mohammad Al-Thani said the 5G+ launch marks another milestone in the company’s efforts to enhance connectivity, drive innovation and support business growth. The initiative also aligns with Qatar National Vision 2030 and Digital Agenda 2030, strengthening the country’s digital transformation and regional leadership.
