Through this partnership, PayLater will be integrated as a payment option for Qatar Rail’s annual metro subscriptions, allowing commuters to pay for the 365-day MetroPass in flexible instalments. The service is fully Sharia-compliant and offers zero interest and zero fees.
The collaboration supports Qatar’s sustainable urban mobility goals by making metro travel more affordable and accessible, while providing ethical and transparent financing in line with Islamic finance principles.
