The Ministry of Labour has announced a three-day Eid Al Adha holiday with full pay for private sector employees. It said employees working during the holiday must receive overtime pay and allowances as per Article 74 of the Labour Law.
The ministry also extended Eid greetings to employers and employees.
Separately, the Amiri Diwan announced that ministries, government entities and public sector institutions will observe the Eid holiday from Tuesday, May 26, to Saturday, May 30, 2026.
