Public Prosecution

The public prosecution is an independent judicial authority that assumes the public prosecution in the name of society, supervises judicial control affairs, and ensures that the law is enforced. The public prosecution has the sole competence to initiate and proceed with the criminal action unless in cases stipulated by law.

Practicing the power of investigating crimes, for this purpose, it may delegate judicial officers who shall be affiliated and supervised by the public prosecution.
