Qatar Cancer Society is a non-profit humanitarian charity founded in 1997. Vision To be a community partnership platform to make Qatar a leader in cancer prevention and its burden control. Mission We seek to prevent cancer and control its burden in Qatar by working with our partners to educate the community, and to support, empower and advocate for individuals living with cancer, in addition to engaging in professional development and scientific research in the field of cancer. It works under the Regulatory Authority for Charitable Activities (RACA) and dedicates its effort towards the protection of cancer and the ways of treating it.
This humanitarian organization is dedicated to the prevention and treatment of cancer and focuses on the implementation of awareness and prevention programs aimed at informing the public and healthcare professionals on the disease itself. QCS reaches out to cancer patients, survivors and their families to help alleviate distress and suffering as well as help facilitate recovery through both emotional, as well as monetary, support.
