Qatar Rail has announced the suspension of Lusail Tram services from June 26 to July 5, 2026, to carry out major improvement works across the network. The temporary closure, coordinated with the Ministry of Transport, is part of ongoing efforts to enhance service quality and improve overall tram performance.
During the Lusail Tram suspension, replacement buses will operate between Legtaifiya and Tarfat–South stations. Metroexpress and Metrolink services, including the new M154 route, will also serve the area. Afterward, at-grade tram sections will remain temporarily closed for further upgrades, with alternative transport services continuing to ensure smooth connectivity.
Qatar Rail has advised passengers to check station guidance maps for replacement bus routes and nearby stops, follow Metro and Tram social media channels, or contact the call centre (105) for the latest service updates.
