Visit Qatar and the Professional Triathletes Organisation (PTO) will host the Qatar T100 Kick Off Run in Lusail on December 10, featuring 1km and 5km community runs at 17:45 and 18:30. The event launches a three-day programme, followed by the Qatar T100 Triathlon World Championship Final on December 11 and the Age-Group World Championships on December 12.
Both community runs are untimed and open to individuals, families and children, encouraging wider participation in the sport.
The weekend will also include open 100km and Sprint-distance triathlons for amateur athletes, with relay options available for the first time in both categories. Participants can enjoy various racing opportunities along Lusail’s scenic waterfront.
The Qatar T100 Triathlon World Championship Final concludes the 2026 tour, bringing top professional triathletes to Qatar to compete for world titles and strengthening the country’s reputation as a global sporting destination
