Royal International School

Royal International School (RIS) was founded in September of 2008 by Qatari people to meet the educational needs of the community and to keep abreast with the fast changing trends in Information Technology and globalization for the future of Qatar as a nation.

With its humble beginning of 250 students, today (RIS) serves more than 1000 students and moved to a new location at Muaither North Street to add additional classrooms and outdoor play area to accommodate the increasing population.

In May 2012, the SEC approved the proposed school site of (RIS) with 14, 000 square meters for the new location. Corollary to this, RIS achieved the candidacy for accreditation last April 2014 issued by the Qatar National Schools Accreditation (QNSA).

At present, Royal International School (RIS) is now on the full swing of Accreditation and will continue to grow and provide quality education using various teaching methods and technological tools to meet the different learning styles of students. The administration, academic leaders, and teachers believe that RIS can make a difference and is committed to Qatar 2030 vision.
