The Ennat Expo transports visitors to a bygone era reminiscent of an old Qatari village

As a part of the International Horticultural Expo 2023 Doha, the Ennat Expo takes guests back in time to a bygone era evocative of a traditional Qatari town, where culture and tradition come together to create a quaint experience. This immersive showcase, located in the Family Zone of the Expo grounds, provides a window into the essence of Qatari culture.

Expo 2023 The Ennat Expo, which is a camping area, was described by Doha as "the very essence of Qatar's heritage" and a "captivating cultural experience."

Inspired by the beloved custom of desert camping in the mild winters, the expo, which is located in Al Bidda, welcomes families and friends to enjoy the basic pleasures of conversing, engaging in customary games, and enjoying regional cuisine under the expansive desert sky—in this case, a park.

The Ennat Expo greets guests with a display of cultural delights as they walk in. Games like Dama, Carom, Al Dahrooi, and Al Dawama are age-appropriate traditional Qatari pastimes, but a Majlis offers a place for socializing and rest.

The expo, which is located in Al Bidda, is modeled after the beloved custom of desert camping during the mild winter months. It encourages families and friends to enjoy the basic pleasures of conversing, engaging in customary games, and enjoying regional cuisine under the expansive desert sky—in this case, a park.

Travelers may fully experience the gastronomic and historical legacy of Qatar. Visitors are taken on a historical tour of the country through interactive exhibitions, while the fragrances of Qatari food tempt them to try some of the region's specialties. By interacting with Qatari hosts, guests can learn more about the traditions and customs of the nation, which are further enhanced by the sounds of traditional music and dance performances by both adults and children.

The Ennat Expo is an invitation to really encounter the friendliness and warmth of Qatari culture rather than merely a display. Visitors gain a greater understanding of Qatari culture, whether they participate in customary activities or just enjoy the lively atmosphere.

The Majlis provides a peaceful haven where visitors may engage with a genuine falcon, which is the national bird of Qatar, or just relax with a cup of qahwa, a traditional Arabic coffee, and savor the rich aroma of this golden-hued beverage.
