The third Qatar-Saudi Arabia coordination meeting on entry procedures for those arriving through the Abu Samra border crossing during the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 began on Wednesday and will continue for two days at the Sheraton Doha Hotel.

Brig. Director of Border Passport Department Nasser bin Abdullah Al Thani led the Qatari delegation in the meeting. General Saud bin Bandar Al-Zour, Assistant Director General of Passports for Border Affairs, led the Saudi delegation.

Brig. Nasser bin Abdullah Al Thani welcomed the Saudi delegation to their second country, Qatar, and wished that these efforts would help ensure smooth entry of fans and guests into Qatar through the Abu Samra border crossing.

He indicated that the current meeting is a continuation of what was discussed in the previous two meetings to enhance cooperation related to the entry and exit procedures of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.

The meeting reviewed the latest developments regarding the authorized entry system for those coming to Qatar during the tournament through the Abu Samra border crossing and other issues on the agenda.
