Akasa Air will operate four non-stop flights a week, connecting Mumbai with Doha, starting March 28

The fastest-growing airline in India, Akasa Air, has started operating from Doha, the first overseas location on its quickly developing network. In order to improve air connectivity between Qatar and India, Akasa Air will begin operating four nonstop flights per week between Mumbai and Doha on March 28, 2024.

The website of Akasa Air is already accepting reservations for flights, with roundtrip tickets beginning at QR1,272.

The airline has made a name for itself in 20 Indian cities, and its next stage of expansion will be marked by the start of operations in Qatar.

Beginning on March 28, the airlines will run four nonstop flights on Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday each week. The QP71 Doha-Mumbai flight is scheduled to take off at 8:40 p.m. local time and land in India at 2:45 a.m. the following day. QP70, the Mumbai-Doha flight, is scheduled to depart at 5:45 p.m. and arrive in Doha at 7:40 p.m.

The opening of operations in Qatar is consistent with the 2030 Qatar Tourism Strategy, which seeks to position the nation as the Middle East's fastest-growing travel destination by that year.
