The third quarter (Q3) of current year saw an 81.5 percent increase in new commercial registrations over the same period last year. All of the Commercial Affairs Sector's key performance metrics showed notable advancements.
In a social media post, the Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MoCI) shared the third quarter's key performance metrics for the consumer, industrial, and commercial sectors. Emphasizing the commercial sector's accomplishments, it reported that 4,631 non-Qatari companies were established in the third quarter of this year, a 59 percent rise from the previous (Q2) quarter of 2025.
Five new e-services were developed on the single window platform in Q3, according to official data supplied by the Ministry. This brings the total number of developed services since the start of the year to 13.
During the quarter, 72,500 transactions were completed through the single window, with 89 percent of those transactions being submitted electronically.
94% of customers expressed satisfaction with the e-submission service.
