The 'Healing and Mercy' campaign will be launched by the Department of Religious Call and Guidance, on behalf of the Ministry of Endowments (Awqaf) and Islamic Affairs on Sunday. The programme, which is being run by the Al Mutawa office in three facilities in Qatar—Hamad Hospital, Al Wakra Hospital, and Al Khor Hospital—was planned in conjunction with Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) and will run until Ramadan 18. It is primarily aimed at tourists.
Malallah Abdul Rahman Al Jaber, the director of the Department of Religious Call and Guidance, stressed the value of a positive relationship between Awqaf and civil society organisations in the State of Qatar, particularly given that HMC is one of the key organisations that provides services to all facets of the national community. He emphasised that Dawah would be able to offer services in a variety of disciplines and new opportunities as a result of this partnership during the holy month of Ramadan.
