The Ministry of Culture has announced that Darb Al Saai activities will begin on Wednesday as part of Qatar National Day (QND) celebrations. This year’s event offers an immersive cultural and heritage experience that reflects Qatar’s identity and the values of loyalty and belonging. Held across 150,000 square meters in Umm Salal, the programme showcases both land and maritime traditions, including Al Maqtar and Al Azba, which recreate Bedouin life with poetry, riddles, and traditional settings.
Visitors can explore heritage houses such as the Falconry House, Hunting House, and the Sadu and Spinning House. Children can enjoy camel riding and interactive activities inspired by nomadic life. The Al Bidda area highlights Qatar’s maritime heritage with traditional games, competitions, and a dedicated museum. Various ministries and cultural centres will participate, offering exhibitions, workshops, and performances. A children’s zone and a main stage featuring daily events ensure activities for all. Darb Al Saai is open daily from 3 PM to 11 PM.
