To improve community engagement and public safety, the Ministry of Interior (MoI) has released detailed instructions on how to use the Al-Adeed service on the Metrash mobile app.
This program demonstrates the MoI's dedication to using technology for preventive security by enabling residents and citizens to quickly and anonymously report a variety of issues. Launched as part of regular upgrades to the Metrash app, the tool enables users to solve problems that could develop into more serious dangers, thereby contributing to a safer society.
The MoI stated in an X post yesterday that the "Security" panel within the app is where users can access the Al-Adeed service. Public morality violations, bad occurrences or behaviors, exposure to threats, transgressions in tourist zones, and administrative corruption are the five main categories on which users can report.
To access the service, start by opening the Metrash app and going to the “Security” section. From there, select “Security Complaint” and then choose the “Preventive Security Department.” Continue by clicking on “Al-Adeed Service Reporting.” You’ll be asked to provide details of the incident, attach photos if available, and pinpoint the location using the built-in map. Finally, pick the relevant complaint type from the dropdown list and submit your report. The process is simple, entirely online, and designed to keep your identity confidential while protecting reporters.
The procedure is now quicker, safer, and easier to use thanks to this upgrade.
As long as the car has a valid registration and no unresolved traffic infractions, the most recent update allows for a smooth transfer of ownership through the Metrash app.
