The General Directorate of Traffic has released new special vehicle registration numbers through the Sooum app.
The “Expression of Interest” section will open on October 1, 2026, at 10am. Applicants can select their preferred number and pay the security deposit within 72 hours.
After the expression-of-interest period, a 24-hour internal auction will be held, with single applications sold at the listed price and multiple applications going to the highest bidder.
Available numbers can be viewed on the Sooum app.
