'Norwegian Dawn' cruise ship made its maiden call in Old Doha Port

The cruise liner "Norwegian Dawn" docked at the Old Doha Port terminal for its first port visit in Qatar. This is also the ship's maiden voyage across the Gulf. Norwegian Dawn is making a turnaround stop at The Terminal with 1,021 crew members and 1,347 passengers.  As the cruise ship pulled into the harbour, Mwani Qatar posted a number of photographs to social media that showed the ship against the famous skyline of Doha.

"Embark 1,900 tourists from Doha on a 7-day itinerary to several tourist destinations in the region, after disembarking 1,300 passengers," is the ship's stated itinerary, according to Mwani Qatar.

Based in Miami, Florida, Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) owns Norwegian Dawn as a subsidiary. It can accommodate 2,340 passengers and 1,032 crew members while flying the Bahamas flag. With fifteen decks, the enormous cruise ship offers a plethora of services and entertainment.
