Qatar Airways introduced a ground-breaking e-sports tournament, "Gaming in the Sky," aboard a commercial aircraft. The groundbreaking event happened on a flight from Doha to London and was made possible by next-generation Starlink connectivity.

Two teams, Team Burgundy Oryx and Team Grey Aviators, engaged in a friendly mid-air battle as the airline turned the skies into a competitive gaming battleground at 35,000 feet. Players battled in real-time with uninterrupted gameplay and live updates on Qatar Airways' social media channels, made possible by Starlink's incredibly fast, low-latency internet.
