The airline has rescinded a rule barring Qatar Airways cabin crew members from posting photos or videos of them in uniform on social media, international airline media reported. According to reports, the cancellation is part of a regulatory overhaul under the new head of Qatar Airways.
Incoming CEO Badr Al Meer has promised that "a culture of trust and empowerment will be the building blocks of our shared success."
Last November, Al Meer suddenly relaxed the nighttime curfew rule for cabin crew. The new CEO is bringing other labor laws closer to international standards across the sector.
