The Gulfstream G650ER fleet of Qatar Executive, the private jet charter arm of Qatar Airways Group, has been equipped with the cutting-edge Starlink technology. Qatar Executive will launch its first Gulfstream G650ER with Starlink on December 14, 2024, enabling travelers to stay even more connected with a dependable and quick Wi-Fi connection that can reach 350 megabits per second.
While flying in the comfort and seclusion of a private aircraft at 45,000 feet, passengers will be able to work uninterrupted, watch live sports, and stream their favorite movies and TV series.
According to a Qatar Executive, Starlink will be placed on the first five of its 15 G650ER aircraft by May 2025. Over the course of the following 18 months, the technology will be implemented throughout the Gulfstream fleet.
