The world's premier aviation technology event, the World Aviation Festival, this year recognized Qatar Airways with the "Best Airline App 2025" award.
During the "Battle of the Airlines Apps," a novel, side-by-side graded competition, the winner was revealed. Before the event, travelers nominated their favorite airline app.
A jury then assessed the five best applications based on digital innovation, mobile services, and user experience after each airline showcased their digital platform.
The Qatar Airways app incorporates artificial intelligence-powered capabilities as part of its digital innovation. To improve booking efficiency, the app just introduced Sama, the first AI cabin crew in history, to the platform.
Travelers may easily ask Sama questions about destinations, costs, cabin and flight options, and she will create a customized itinerary in real time because she communicates smoothly via voice and chat.
In addition, business class passengers can check the onboard menu prior to their journey so that Sama can offer recommendations, highlight chef specialties, and provide meals for particular dietary requirements.
