Qatar has allowed drone operations in designated areas from September 29, with locations available on the Metrash app. Flights are permitted from sunrise to 9am and from 2pm until sunset.
The Ministry of Interior urged drone users to follow approved areas, timings and licensing conditions, warning that violations will result in legal action under applicable laws and regulations.
