The second edition of the 'Back to School' event is being held at Sport City Station in Doha Metro from August 19 to September 2, 2025, by Qatar Railways Company (Qatar Rail) in association with a consortium of Qatari suppliers of school supplies. The 'Metro Events' series is a series of public events that Qatar Rail hosts at metro stations all year long.
As the new school year draws near, the event, which is being held at the Sport City Station on the Gold Line metro, gives customers and the general public a chance to check out special deals from bookshops and businesses that specialize in school supplies. A variety of free activities for kids and families will be available as part of the event from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on weekdays and from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm on weekends. In partnership with Qatar Rail, these consist of an interactive gaming area, painting, coloring, and art activities, as well as a number of contests and challenges that provide chances to earn worthwhile rewards.
Taking place at Sport City Station on the metro’s Gold Line, the event gives visitors access to special deals from bookstores and school supply retailers ahead of the new academic year.
