Qatar’s pavilion at the International Horticultural Exhibition won the silver medal of ‘BrandEx2023’ Award

Qatar’s pavilion at the International Horticultural Exhibition ‘Expo Floriade 2022’ held in the Netherlands won the silver medal for its participation in the International Festival of Brand Experience ‘BrandEx2023’ Award organised in Dortmund, Germany. The pavilion of Qatar, organised by the Ministry of Municipality under the slogan: “Live the Desert”, qualified in the category of “Best Architectural Implementation”, as it won the vote of the international jury, and won the silver rank during this international festival in the German Republic.
Qatar’s pavilion at the Florid Expo received a Guinness Book of Records certificate as the tallest tower made of concrete using 3D printing technology. It also won the Excellence Award in Hospitality. During the period from April 14 to October 9, 2022, the pavilion witnessed many Qatari cultural and heritage activities and events to introduce the public to the most important Qatari customs, culture, heritage, customs and traditions, and supervised the management of a group of young Qatari cadres.
The pavilion features many activities and events to familiarize the public with the most important Qatari customs, culture, and heritage, including the Qatari Cooking Day event, led by a Qatari female (chef), where Qatari folk food is presented with the aim of introducing the Dutch public to Qatari customs and traditions.
The Ministry of Municipality also organised a number of visits to the exhibition for senior officials in the ministry, as part of its keenness to inform its officials about such international exhibitions and to follow up on the latest experiences in the field of horticulture and gardens, prior to Qatar’s hosting of Expo 2023 Doha.
