In 2025, the Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) continued to strengthen the country’s healthcare system through forward-looking policies, effective regulation and enhanced service integration, ensuring high standards of care, efficiency and long-term sustainability.
MoPH data shows that Qatar’s healthcare workforce includes nearly 58,000 professionals across public and private sectors, encompassing medical, nursing, technical and administrative roles. Hospital capacity has reached 5,485 beds, reflecting ongoing expansion to support population growth, urban development and rising healthcare needs.
