Qatar recorded 3.27 million visitors in the first eight months of this year, Al Watan reported. Of these, 1.92 million arrived by air, 1.1 million by road, and 240,000 by sea. The GCC countries made up the largest share, contributing 1.2 million visitors, or 36.8% of the total. Europe followed with over 800,000 visitors, representing 24.6%. The Asia-Oceania region accounted for 710,000 arrivals during the same period.
