The Qatar Central Bank (QCB) announced the following increases in interest rates on deposits, loans, and repurchases on its website:
- Raise the QCB Deposit Interest Rate (QCBDR) to 5.75% by 25 basis points (bps).
- Raise the QCB Lending Interest Rate (QCBLR) to 6.25% by 25 basis points (bps).
- Raise the QCB Repurchase Rate (QCBRR) to 6.00% by 25 basis points (bps).
The hike will come into effect on July 27, 2023.
