Visit Qatar has announced that the inaugural IRONMAN 70.3 Doha triathlon will take place from March 18 to 20, 2027, at Old Doha Port, further strengthening Qatar’s position as a leading sports tourism destination.
Organised in partnership with The IRONMAN Group, the event will culminate in the main race on March 20, featuring a 1.9km swim, 90km cycling course and 21.1km run. The programme will also include the IRONKIDS race on March 19 for younger participants.
The event is expected to attract thousands of athletes and visitors, boosting Qatar’s sports tourism and visitor economy.
