22 books on FIFA World Cup history have been issued by Katara Publishing House

Within the events of the Cultural Village Foundation, Katara Publishing House issued 22 books on Wednesday tournament, with the topics of the books tackling most important incidents witnessed by the World Cup since the first edition in 1930, along with the careers of Arab and Qatari football stars and the football commentator Yousef Saif. This is in addition to books that include figures, statistics and incidents witnessed by the tournament where 10 books were translated into English language. 

Among the books include: World Cup 2022: Football as soft power in the Middle East by Dr. Khaled Al Jaber, which addresses the elements of the soft power in the modern age; Football Stars in Qatar by Dr. Maryam Al Naimi, which addresses the careers of 27 footballers who constituted the first core of the football launch in Qatar; and Sports Engineering in the World Cup 2022  by the Engr.Khalid Abdul Rahim al Sayed, which addresses Qatar’s facilities concerned with the world cup and their associations with sustainability.
