A pledge of $50 million has been made by Qatar as an inaugural aid package aimed at offering essential support to Palestinian youth

With a commitment to aiding Palestinians affected by the current hostilities in the Gaza Strip, the State of Qatar has declared a significant humanitarian endeavour. As a first step towards providing critical assistance to those most in need—refugees, people displaced by violence, injured parties, orphaned children, and those negatively impacted by the fighting in the area—a $50 million contribution has been made.

In addition to this financial support, Qatar has strengthened its commitment to the educational empowerment of Palestinians. During a recent meeting at the Second Global Refugee Forum in Geneva, the State of Qatar reaffirmed its commitment to supporting Palestinian youth's academic progress. Qatar will offer 100 academic scholarships under the auspices of the renowned Al Fakhoora programme run by the Education Above All Foundation.

This two-pronged support highlights Qatar's commitment to humanitarian relief and the value of educational opportunities in promoting the resilience and long-term well-being of the Palestinian people.
